Role:


Principal CAD Engineer role is a product design and development role for an experienced CAD practitioner, and here’s how this role will make an impact:





Key responsibilities for this role include:

  • Working within design teams to develop drug delivery devices, you will apply your technical and creative skills in 3D CAD design of plastic moulded parts and mechanisms to develop robust drug delivery devices.
  • Developing designs of components that are suitable for tooling, moulding and assembly in high volume with fully detailed engineering drawings, change notes and supporting design control documentation for compliance.
  • Driving your design with solid engineering principles, by working with the project team to optimize performance and reliability and reduce risk, such that the concept designs are being translated into robust designs suitable for scale up and commercialization.



The minimum qualifications for this role are:
  • First or upper second mechanical engineering degree or equivalent
  • Strong CAD design skills and passion for mechanical engineering and mechanism design.
  • Highly experienced with 3D CAD using Creo
  • Creativity, insight and attention to detail.
  • Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and teamwork are essential.
