Our client is one of the country’s leading healthcare companies. Their commercial offices are based in Dublin. The site’s primary services include Clinical Research, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Sales, Policy & Communications and Marketing. The team of over 100 people supports the advancement of a range of treatment areas such as Oncology, Vaccines, Diabetes and Immunology. They are currently seeking a Brand & Customer manager who will be the local Brand Champion/Expert responsible for maximizing subsidiary revenue of relevant Brand(s) through a strong focus on Customers and excellent market and environmental understanding. This role will be responsible for the preparation and implementation of a sales and marketing strategy that will facilitate the delivery of required level of sales and brand awareness in specified areas. The role will include sales and marketing responsibilities for specific indications for the Oncology portfolio and will include product sales and marketing. The role will be crucial in communicating the strategy, messaging and positioning behind the brand to different customer stakeholders. The role will report to the oncology franchise manager and will play a central part in the strategic planning and operational planning process.

Role/Responsibilities:
• Brand Management: Develop & execute annual subsidiary Brand Profit Plan(s) aligned with Regional Brand Strategies to include environmental assessment, marketing approach, channel mix, segment selection, materials adaptation/localization & development; Brand P&L Management through optimization of Brand marketing contribution; promotional budget allocation & management; sales forecasting; Represent country customer and brand needs regionally.
• Focus on implementing innovative customer and patient solutions and look to continuously improve & evolve existing programmes.
• Commercial excellence: be proactive and agile in responding to market needs and ensure optimal execution of franchise commercial strategy.
• Customer Focus & Management: Develop a deep understanding of their customer group(s). Interact closely with key Customers; develop and implement a comprehensive customer engagement model; participate in relevant local Customer teams (CMT); champion Customer-centricity in decision making.
• Compliance / Health & Safety: ensures that all customer marketing activities are conducted in accordance with all Compliance Policies/ Health & Safety standards
• Leadership / Change Management: consistently demonstrates Leadership Standards; is a leader of change and actively participates in strategy development and implementation in the organisation.
• The BCM reports directly to the Oncology Franchise Manager

Education/Qualifications:
• Brand marketing experience.
• Primary Degree, preferable in a business or science related area.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Irish Oncology Physicians either in a sales or marketing role.
• Strong listening & comprehension skills.
• Demonstrated orientation towards executional excellence.
• Strong attention to detail and follow up – strong analytical skills together with developed business acumen.
• Entrepreneurial mindset, ability and eagerness to challenge status quo, make quick decisions, and operate successfully in an empowered organisation
• Proven knowledge and understanding of Brand, Customer & Digital Marketing.
• Strong business acumen including an understanding of the role of the supply chain, policy & access in the development & delivery of the brand plan.
• High technical ability on handling complex clinical evidence
• Excellent financial management & planning skills to manage local brand P&L and forecasting requirements.
• Strong IT skills, including advanced Excel & Powerpoint.
• Strong ability to analyse multiple data sources and ability to use insights to effectively inform strategy.
• Ability to manage projects and programmes using agile methodologies
• Excellent internal & external communication & influencing skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills including relationship building & ongoing maintenance.
• Demonstrated ability to work in extended teams and collaborate / partner with others from across the business.
